Below is a selection of audience comments about December’s PoetryFilm Paradox events:

Inspiring + creative and a well thought out evening

Moving. Profound. Enriched.

Meaningful, inspiring. Positive and engaging

The only organisation that mixes poetry reading with poetry film

Nice to see a variety of different experiences of love

Arousing – in every possible way

Thought provoking. Surprising. Rich visuals and language.

Very interesting, never seen anything like it

I loved the variety and the quality

Curation was wonderful, great balance of films

So edgy. But interesting.

Inspiring, want to create more

Very interesting programme

Absolutely loved all aspects of the films, poetry, and poetry readings

I had a very special screening, great atmosphere and such a good selection of film works

A thrilling transference of poetry to film. As a writer, I loved it!

Great!

Great fun, convivial, but some serious and moving content

Very comfortable and enjoyable

Visually and aurally challenging and rewarding

I enjoyed it

Enjoyable and interesting

Fascinating

Nice seat.

Thought provoking

Engaged and stimulated

Inspired creativity. Relaxed. Creative.

Amazing

Fantastic. Opened my eyes to new avenues.

Inspiring

Something different

Good – a well balanced programme

Extremely enjoyable and stimulating. I very much enjoyed the combination of poetry film and live poetry.

A wonderful experience with a strong film programme. I find poetry hard to follow when read aloud yet I enjoyed this section too, especially the last reader.
